Connect a Custom Domain to Your Netlify Project in Minutes
I took a domain I had sitting idle for over a year (I know you have a few as well), and got it connected to a SerpScaler project in minutes. There’s not even a lead buyer yet. The number is fake. Doesn’t matter. I ran a quick SERP audit—the competition looked soft, so why not ship something?
Check out the video. The step by step starts at 1:28 mark since I rambled for the first part.
Getting a custom domain onto your Netlify project isn’t as hard as you think:
1. Pick your project in Netlify.
2. Jump into “Domain Management” → “Add Domain You Already Own.”
3. Throw in your Namecheap (or whatever) domain, hit “Verify.”
4. Set up Netlify DNS—just copy the 4 DNS records into Namecheap and save.
5. Hit “Done,” and let the records propagate (give it a few hours).
6. Your project is LIVE on a real, branded domain. Sometimes it’s instant, sometimes you wait. But it works.
Update: Domain became live in 3 minutes. Check it out: catererwestpalmbeach.com
Side note: In case you missed it I shared my full SOP on how to find these sites.
