Need advice please

I've been trying for a long time to run a Google ad for a pay-per-call offer from the company MarketCall. The ad shows as eligible, but there are no impressions or clicks at all. The ad is a direct call ad. Can anyone help me and give me some advice? Note that I'm targeting a city in the US and the daily budget is $10

If your ad is eligible but getting zero impressions, it usually means it’s not entering the auction. A few things to check:– Bid strategy (too low bids can block impressions)– Search volume in that city (some areas are very low volume)– Ad scheduling and call extension settings– Account or ad-level restrictions (especially with call ads) Also, a $10 budget can be limiting in competitive niches. You might want to test a slightly higher budget or broader targeting to confirm if it’s a volume issue.

If you need faster results, ads can work once the setup is right, but for long-term consistency, I’ve seen local SEO perform much better. Especially in local niches, ranking even a single page can bring in consistent calls without relying on daily ad spend. Might be worth testing both instead of depending only on ads.

Pest control is a solid niche for inbound calls. I’m currently focused on local SEO and moving into pay-per-call, mainly in home service niches like electricians. Curious, what kind of call volume and geo are you looking for right now?
