Silver and Gold (Money, Jewelry, or Industrial Metal)?
Do you consider silver and gold to be money or an asset? Ron Paul had to tell the tell the Treasury Chairman “some of us consider Gold money”. The BIBLE certainly says silver and gold are money. Look at Judas betraying Jesus for silver.l and the baby Jesus being gifted gold by the 3 wise men. @Mark Osborne coulf fact check me. The U.S. CONSTITUTION: Article I, Section 10, Clause 1.3 : “No State shall…..make anything but silver and gold legal tender for payment of debts” @Maureen Greer the Constitution seems to be subverted here? Richard Nixon took the U.S. off of the gold standard in 1971, of course they said it would be temporary. Dimes, quarters, and half-dollars were 90% silver before 1964 Your thoughts?

Whiskey Rebellion (Taxation WITH Representation)?
What was the 1st tax passed and enforced under the Constitution? (Taxation WITH Representation) Used to raise monies “Them good old boys were making Whiskey and Rye”. American Pie. Was Washington right to use U. S. Troops to end an 500-man rebellion against federal tax collectors? Attacking a tax collector’s home. 4-state militias could not end it (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia). In 1794, Western Pennsylvania farmers were making whiskey and Congress passed the 1st ever Excise tax in 1791 on whiskey . 13 000 U.S. Troops were sent by George Washington to end the rebellion. NO FIGHTING NEEDED. 2 were tried for treason, sentenced, and later pardoned by George Washington. Was it smart to pardon the Whiskey Rebellion leaders?

Did O.J. Simpson’s Verdict Surprise You? (1990s)
I naively was surprised when I.J. Simpson was “found” not guilty of double homicide. Were you? In law school, I had heard about Jury Nullification, meaning ignoring evidence and just issuing whatever verdict the jury wants to for whatever reason. The 7th Amendment I believe provides for a trial by jury, especially for criminal offenses. What were your thoughts?

What do you find most interesting in our community conversations? Many YouTubers and Community owners steer clear of politics, I don’t, giving honest analysis that I stick to because I believe what I say. The credibility factor.
