As a Salesforce Platform App Builder, I designed a custom app to streamline how Sainsbury’s handles customer complaints and product incidents across Customer Service, Food Safety, and Store Management departments.
🛠️ What I Built:
- A custom object: Product Incident Report
- Configured Dynamic Forms to show only relevant fields per department
- Added Dynamic Actions (e.g., escalate button appears only if Urgent = TRUE)
- Implemented field-level & record-level security so users only see what they’re supposed to
- Built a Lightning App Page workspace for logging and managing reports
- Set up Sharing Rules by Store Location
- Added a “Requires Follow-Up” field + List View for Store Managers
🎯 The result: A secure, user-friendly app that improves visibility, speeds up escalation, and reduces errors across teams.
