Exploring Gemini Live API for Voice AI Widgets
Hello everyone, I’ve been developing Voice AI solutions for my clients using tools like VAPI, RetellAI, and others. Recently, I started exploring the Gemini Live API (Audio) and LiveKit agents to build more customizable solutions with greater control. One of my clients requested a POC using the Gemini API to integrate a voicebot widget on their website. I’m sharing a Loom demo below and would love to hear your thoughts on the audio quality and overall experience. https://www.loom.com/share/6f41e1c5b5724758be1be79a902b9a59
Exploring Gemini Live API for Voice AI Widgets
7 Voice AIs. 1 App. 429 Tests. $0
If you've been wanting to add voice AI to your project but can't decide which provider to use... I felt the same way. So I built something using my own 'Apex Spec System' (https://github.com/moshehbenavraham/apex-spec-system). It's called Voice Agent PuPuPlatter. (Yes, like the appetizer sampler at a Chinese restaurant.) One app. Seven voice AI providers. All in one tabbed interface. Here's what's included: → ElevenLabs (Widget + SDK modes) → OpenAI Realtime API → xAI Grok → Ultravox → Vapi → Retell You can switch between them instantly and compare the experience yourself. Each provider has: • Real-time transcripts • Audio visualization • Function calling demos • Automatic reconnection The UI is modern glassmorphism design. Works on mobile. Fully accessible. If interested, I also recorded a video tutorial series showing exactly how to set up your own ElevenLabs agent from scratch (links in the Repo). 5 videos. Step by step. Tech stack if you're curious: React 19 + TypeScript + Vite + Tailwind CSS 429+ tests included. Docker support for easy deployment. It's 100% free and open source. Dograh Project and Dograh Cloud are now Cloudonix enabled
Hi All, For those of you who are not familiar with Dograh, it is an open source project aimed at providing a VAPI like functionality. Dograh is also available as a cloud offering, enabling its users to build their own AI Voice Agent experiences using their infrastructure. Dograh is based on Pipecat for its AI orchestration, coupled with your favorite AI Models and Dograh's models as well. I recommend taking a look at it - https://www.dograh.com/ Now, by default - Dograh supports Twilio, Vonage, and Vobiz. However, this week Cloudonix patches were introduced - enabling Cloudonix telephony services ontop of Dograh. So, you can use it to connect your own phone system or any SIP compatible phone provider. In about 2 weeks we'll be holding a special Dograh + Cloudonix dedicated session, where we will show how this integration works - and what features it brings. For more information, feel free to DM me and register to our upcoming office hours sessions to learn more about this integration. https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/6D63tRaYSDihkJtUlpNp-A

Day 87-90 Of Learning In Public! -> Alhamdulillah The Voice Agent in Working As It Should! 😁
Hey Humans! I'll keep this short as I dont have much to say! I finally Completed the AI Frontdesk for the Med Spa Niche and we tested everything from Creating, Deleting, Updating the Bookings etc etc! After many revisions i added a section called "Example Conversational Flow" which resulted in a massive increase of the Agents Output Quality! The Tools are in a MCP Server so the project is using the same tools in the SMS as well as in the Voice As well! I also had some talk with my other client where we were discussing about our projects and also https://www.genspark.ai/. Like i was soo amazed by the features it has and its really good!! The client is in the mortgage niche and Im trying to complete atleast 4 of his projects end to end by the end of the year! 3 projects are 75% done, and there's some work remaining but that will be done soon! Im also creating a newsletter automation, which i have no idea on how its actually created. Will need to dig deep on it! We were also looking into reddit api and notebooklm API. Its sad that NotebookLM Doesnt provide API's for Video Overview and everything else.. The platform is really crazy but because their not providing their API, we cannot use it in our project. I think three months back, I had worked in the reddit comment automation at that time, they did not have any policy rules, etc. But now I don't know why they have added some privacy policy rules. First we need to fill a form, and then we get the API access once they give the permission, which is really bad(of course its because of we developers creating bots😂) Anyways nothing else! #VoiceAgent #AIAutomation #AIAssistants #AIFrontdesk #MedSpaAutomation #MortgageAutomation #ClientProjects #RedditAPI #NotebookLM
