Hey everyone!
This week we dived into the foundations of social media and content strategy — helping you build systems that make marketing easier, more authentic, and more effective.
Here’s a quick recap of what we covered 👇
1. Use ChatGPT to make content creation 10Ă— faster:
• Content batching → PLAN AHEAD: what do you want to offer this month and why? Create your content once a week/once a month and schedule your posts.
• Caption ideas → ask ChatGPT for 10–20 caption options per service you intend to provide that month.
• Bulk-script your posts → based on the services and captions, ask ChatGPT to draft full captions with Calls To Action.
• Hashtag research → use a mix of small (<50k), medium (100k–500k), and large (500k+) hashtags — research these based on your area, services and ideal community.
• Email + SMS templates → reuse prompts to build your monthly emailing and texting campaigns. Send these out at least once a week. Create templates catering to your different types of leads — long-standing customers / first-time customers / interested leads.
REMEMBER: Tweak everything so that it sounds authentic to YOU, ChatGPT can come across a little robotic.
2. Standing Out in a Crowded Market
• Show your face — people buy from people!
• Share testimonials (even from friends/family if starting out).
• Educate and give value — not just promos.
• Stay consistent — consistency beats perfection. Planning ahead and scheduling posts is key for this.
• Tell stories — your “why” builds trust.
3. Tracking = Growth
• Use your Social Media Engagement Tracker (find shared PDF on this post) weekly.
• Track: date, post type, caption theme, likes, saves, comments, shares, and inquiries/bookings.
• Double down on what performs best!
4. Use Instagram Insights
To check your analytics per post:
Profile → Top right corner → Insights → Content You Shared
Look for:
• Accounts Reached
• Content Interactions
• Follows/Profile Visits
• Saves & Shares
5. Create or Convert to a Business Instagram Account
Go to: Profile → Settings → Account → Switch to Professional Account
• Choose Business (not Creator)
• Add contact info + business category
• Connect to your Facebook page
• This gives you access to Insights and allows you to add buttons like “Book Now” or “Call”
If you already have a personal page, you can easily migrate without losing content.
