I’m new. I’m an RN but I teach various classes on the side and also own a preschool. I’m always interested in learning & exploring opportunities for growth.

I’m a retired nurse who has been around a bit and love to see groups like this get together to support one another. I spent 10 years in Emergency, a few years on med-surg., a year in the O.R. , supervisor for a year then community and ended with Mental Health. After that I taught the LPN program at the local college. I’m from Newfoundland, 🇨🇦 Canada! It’s a rewarding career no doubt but definitely one with its challenges. I left nursing after nearly 30 years to start an online business in my 50’s! It was exciting and challenging and provided a way to create another income as well as allow me to have the freedom to enjoy my family and our son who was growing up way too fast. I felt there was more I had to do. I hope I can give to this community in some way. Allows stay true to your values and work ethics and have your job work around your life, not the other way round. 💕
