I'm Tory! I come from a family of first responders. That being said, I've been an EMT for about 8 years. I'm also taking pre-nursing classes, but still can't decide if I want to get an Associate's or go straight for Bachelor's between all the classes I've completed and my work history. My "why" has always been to help others. I was hospitalized with a chronic disease as early as 3 years old. So, my goal has been to give back to my community. However, the adrenaline an emergency call gives me between the priority level and the pretty lights and sirens, I'm hooked! I just want to advance in my career and continue to be a better clinician. There's always room for growth and more education in this field! I'm here for the community in hopes I have virtual friends to lean on to study with or be guided by. Thanks for including me!
