Programs and Projects are the Key
This is where collaborative partnerships or simply being a resource acting as a case manager comes in. I will send a video later to explain more. But for now I will share 2 resources you may want to offer to your community.
The case study is captured for your nonprofit because you have an intake portion that offers a test or survey of needs that the community member has. The resources I will share could be offered if applicable. But you don’t just send them, you help with the entire process. Kind of like hand holding to make sure they don’t get overwhelmed with the process and stop. And of course challenges will come when they are enrolled in a specific program so support and accountability is critical. Then upon completion there is the job application process. Yes, these other programs may help but you know the whole picture and they trust you more. Maybe there is a continuation of life skills training and that inner circle support.
Ok hopefully you get what I’m saying by now. Don’t forget gender is not as important as it used to be when it comes to the construction and other trade industries.
