Hey gang, this is a rather broad question but I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this: when it comes to marketing a song, I rely on certain KPIs that help me define whether a song is successful or not and if I should invest more marketing dollars to really get this moving.
My main KPIs are as follows:
- Price per conversion on FB & IG ads. The lower, the better, as this is an indicator that the ad is performing well!
- Spotify save rate (15% and up)
- Spotify playlist adds (user generated playlists)
- Number of Shazams per day
What are some of the KPIs that you guys pay attention to and let me know if I forgot something. I'm looking forward to your ideas and thoughts.
