The NF Darkroom is a small private community for photographers who already know their camera and want to work out what they're actually trying to say with it.
Most people here don't need another lesson on exposure. What's usually missing is direction, a reason the shot exists beyond "it looked nice."
Once a month I set a focus to shoot toward. You post your work and what you were after, and I give it a proper look, as does everyone else. No vague "lovely shot" comments, no gear debates. Just honest, constructive feedback.
We also meet live once a month for image review and Q&A. It's recorded, so you can watch later if the time doesn't suit.
One question runs through everything: what do I want the viewer to feel?
I post my own work too, and I'd welcome the same honesty in return.
