Each time you make a small goal as in intermittent fasting, eat what you like after that fast, I prefer you stay discipline in order to develop that habit. Though this is true, eating what you truly want after that fast helps you to train the delayed gratification deeper in order for you to feel good about delaying the gratification to help animalistic aspect of you feel excited about getting to the end result to get that “reward”.
