I used to think life changed when something big happened.
A new job.
A move.
A relationship.
A moment you could point to and say that’s when everything shifted.
But lately I’m noticing it happens the other way around.
Life doesn’t change first.
You do.
You start moving through your days with less resistance.
You stop gripping so tightly to outcomes.
You become more present in conversations instead of performing.
You laugh quicker. You recover faster. You care but not at the expense of yourself.
And then, almost quietly, things start happening.
Conversations appear that you didn’t chase.
Opportunities show up that you didn’t force.
Moments unfold that feel oddly natural, like they were always meant to find you.
It’s subtle at first.
Easy to dismiss as coincidence.
(But I don’t believe in those)
Good timing.
Random chance.
But the pattern becomes harder to ignore.
The more you soften into your life, the more your life softens back.
You realize alignment isn’t about controlling what arrives.
It’s about becoming someone who can receive what does.
And maybe that’s the real shift…
Not that everything suddenly starts working out but that you start experiencing your life instead of managing it.
You stop waiting for proof that you’re on the right path.
Because your days begin to be proof that you are.
