Started working on a 3D animation to visually explain the Solar Cross Calendar, a 13 month symmetrical calendar based on equinoxes and solstices.
The number 13 is the only number that divides our 365.24 days it takes us to travel around our sun with the smallest remainder (of 1.24 days).
Also 13 circles arranged as a hexagonal star is the basis to draw Metatrons cube in sacred geometry. Also if you divide the 52 weeks of a year into 4 equal seasons, it’s 13 weeks for each season, (13 weeks between equinoxes and solstices)
It seems like sacred geometry through metatrons cube gives us the clue of the number 13 as the basis to organise our calendar around and measure time in accordance with natural rhythms.
I recently made an instagram account and in the process of developing a website and app for the Solar Cross Calendar project. @solarcrosscalendar
I decided to focus on this project instead of my story for the time being. I have actually started to write the first draft of a book telling my story of the last 9 years. Been writing for the last 4 months and half way into the first draft, and want to take my time developing that because the story is quite long and I don’t feel it really makes sense without details and nuances.
The Solar Cross Calendar is a Creative Commons open source art project to promote collaborations and collective development, I just came up with one geometrical model as a suggestion to act as a framework.
