22 Major Archetypes Part 1 - The Fool - PREMIUM REPLAY
Introduction to Book T - PREMIUM REPLAY (shared with Decans)
We start the Decan Diaries in 10 days! That's right our first class will be next Friday 10am AEST. If you're new to Decans and you're wanting to get to the 'source' this is where it's at. A preliminary class discussion to introduce a bit of historical reference to the Decans and how they are connected to Tarot in relation to the teachings of The Golden Dawn, astrological order and any burning questions you might have about the Decans before we embark on the Decan Diary immersion. The Golden Dawn by Israel Regardie - The Black Brick Renée discussed the "Black Brick" book, which serves as a reference for ceremonial magic and Golden Dawn esoteric practices. She explained how the book contains charts of the minor arcana and outlines the ceremonial names for the major arcana and court cards, including specific details about the Two of Swords card. Renée also mentioned her vintage OTO (Ordo Templi Orientis) deck and noted that while the organization created by Aleister Crowley exists, she personally prefers independent occult study over joining groups. The discussion concluded with Renée preparing to review a PDF document related to Golden Dawn teachings, which she had made accessible to the group. Color Occult Text Presentation Renée presented details about a color version of an occult text, explaining its symbolism including the Egyptian cross, zodiac signs, and various mystical references. She discussed the significance of the 22 petals representing the 22 major arcana and Hebrew letters, and explained the meaning of LVX (light) in Roman numerals. Renée also mentioned that Book T, taken from the Golden Dawn by Israel Regardie, is a key component of the cipher manuscripts that initiated the Order's teachings. 36 Decans and Divination Method Renée explained the origins and structure of the 36 Decans, emphasizing their connection to the four elements and their role in ceremonial magic. She outlined how to remember the Decans by breaking them down into cardinal (2s, 3s, 4s), fixed (5s, 6s, 7s), and mutable (8s, 9s, 10s) energies. Renée also introduced a 9-card divination method based on the "Opening of the Key" operation, instructing participants to use a specific deck and consecration method for the practice.
