New Year Energy ⚡️
New Year energy can feel ✨exciting ✨, but also like someone handed you a 37 item “To Do” list & said “Good luck, babe.” I know that girl all too well! Every January. Fresh journals. Color- coded goals. New habits. New Year, New Me. Total life makeover. 🫠 & honestly… NONE of it ever stuck. Not because I was lazy. Not because I didn’t want it enough. But because: 1️⃣ I had ZERO systems to support the habits. 2️⃣ My nervous system was already maxed out. Here’s the part no one talks about- ESPECIALLY as moms… We don’t “fail” because we lack discipline. We “fail” because our bodies are already in survival mode, while our minds chase this fantasy version of what our life “should” be like. REAL change doesn’t come overnight & sure doesn’t come from a To Do list as long as a CVS receipt (IYKYK) 😂 It comes from MICRO shifts- eventually leading to MASSIVE shifts with consistency 🤌🏼 If you wake up at 8am every day, your body will be your enemy if you suddenly demand 5am wakeups. That’s not self-discipline. That’s self-abandonment. Real evolution looks like: • 8:00 → 7:45 • then 7:30 • then 7:00 • until your body actually feels safe there 🤗 Your nervous system needs a seat at the table. This year isn’t about doing more. It’s about creating rhythms your body can sustain. Small habits → safety → consistency → momentum That’s how growth actually sticks! So if New Year energy feels heavy for you… you’re not behind. You’re just being invited to do it differently this time 🤍 And honestly? That might be the most powerful reset of all. Let’s hold each other accountable & share micro shifts we’re focusing on to UPGRADE our mama vibes 🪩
