I do. And today I have not touched them yet. Why? Because I am finishing a carryover task from the week. My YouTube video comes first. That was the commitment. So that is the priority. And here is the honest conversation I just had with myself. I almost added a Saturday task that said: “Post and promote YouTube video.” It would have made the day look productive. It would have given me something easy to check off. But it would have blurred the truth. If I move the deadline instead of honoring it, I am not improving. I am just protecting my ego. And that makes the data meaningless. If my goal is to have my video posted by the end of the Friday workday, then doing it on Saturday and checking a box is me letting myself off the hook. Again. I do not want fake progress. I want clean data. I want to score honestly. So if I do not get to my Saturday tactics today, I will score that accurately. No drama. No shame. Just information. WAM Update Week 1
1. Weekly Execution Score 79% of planned commitments completed Target is 80%, so I was just under. But honestly, I’m really pleased with this. 2. Planned vs Executed Planned tactics: – Work on my allotment – Take action to grow my premium tier to 100 members – Make progress on DIY tasks Executed tactics: – Made huge progress on my allotment (despite rain delays) – Took the right actions to grow my premium tier – Didn’t complete the DIY tasks I gave myself a lot in week one. Even so, I got a big personal project properly started in my allotment, which feels really good. The rain slowed me down a bit, but I still moved it forward. On the business side, I’m doing the right things to grow my premium tier. The momentum just hasn’t kicked in yet. I was also slightly poorly, which didn’t help. I can see that I now need to focus more on conversions and getting people more involved inside the group so they’re more likely to upgrade. The DIY tasks didn’t happen at all. I simply didn’t have the time or energy. 3. Primary Execution Breakdown ☑ Overcommitment I stretched myself a bit too far for week one. 4. Next Week’s Execution Commitment Commitment:Increase premium conversions by focusing on engagement inside the group and tracking daily conversion actions. DIY tasks are now scheduled for my child-free weekend, and I’ll use that focused time to move them forward properly. What is it actually telling you? ✨ Notice where you followed through and where you drifted. ✨ Adjust your next two weeks of tactics based on reality, not wishful thinking. This is how we get better. Not by adding more, but by refining what is already on the board. I am sharing my reflection done AFTER my WAM below. You do not have to record yours, but you might want to talk it through, even if it is just you and ChatGPT helping you think clearly. Say it out loud. Score it honestly.
