Yesterday I put on my big girl pants
and did something that is not my favorite. I sold my products at a market.
And you know what? It was great.
I paid 100 dollars for the stand and 10 dollars to rent a table. Both are 100 percent tax deductible for my business. I sold 145 dollars in product, so yes, I was profitable. That felt really good.
But this is not really about the money.
It is about doing something uncomfortable again.
The first time I did a market I was stressed. I overprepared. I questioned everything. My husband joined me.
This time I went confidently alone. When I got home he said he noticed a difference. I was calm and happy instead of exhausted. That is a big win.
That is what happens when you do something a second time. And a third. And a fourth. I am talking to myself here too.
For those of us who love the new idea, the fresh start, the next shiny path, this is the reminder.
Real income without burnout is not built on constant pivots.
It is built on repetition. On giving your nervous system proof that you can handle this. I am paying attention to this in myself. I invite you to notice it in yourself too.
Sometimes putting on your big girl pants just means showing up again.
And again.
And again.
That is where the magic actually is.
It is a good day to have a good day.
