I started this post with water and WWW
Sitting at the condo this morning, resting after a few chaotic days. Three water leaks across our properties before the year even closes. Not dramatic. Just real life.
WWW stands for What Went Well. It is a simple reflection practice I learned in education and keep coming back to when things feel messy.
Not what went wrong.
Not what still needs fixing.
But what actually went well.
Today my WWW looks like this.
I focused on staying hydrated instead of running on fumes.
We responded instead of panicked.
I rested instead of pushing through.
Last November was a turning point for me. First time on blood pressure meds. First time wearing glasses. A real income low. At the time it felt like something was breaking.
Now I see it as correction.
Health.
Vision.
Finances.
That season taught me how to meet stress without burning myself down. This week reminded me why that mattered.
Multiple streams of income do not prevent hard moments. But they do give you options and breathing room when they show up.
As we close out the year, I am not rushing to declare goals. I am noticing growth.
Hard things happened this year.
And I handled them each differently and little bit better than the last.
If you want to try this with me today, keep it simple.
Drink some water.
Write one WWW.
Sometimes that is enough.
It is a good day to have a good day.
