I'm on PodMatch (and Why You Should Be Too!)

Today is my parents' 35th wedding anniversary. And to celebrate, I joined PodMatch yesterday.😄

Seriously, though, I did end up joining at least for the month because I like being on podcasts and I don't have enough money to advertise myself outside of posts and DMs.

So what is PodMatch? It's a website where podcast hosts and guests can meet each other rather than having to sift through social media to find the right candidates. It's something I've been eyeing and I realized yesterday that since I don't have money for expensive online ads, this is my adspend. Making connections with podcasters, getting my name out there, and growing my reputation/network.

If you're comfortable with being interviewed (they also have audio-only options), it's a great place to connect. They set it up really well!

I've actually been on multiple podcasts so the experience is certainly beneficial for me getting more opportunities. And it really depends on a great profile. I already have had two podcasters reach out to me.
