My 1st live interview on Linkedin
Hello lovely people, As I mentioned during our Anti-Mastermind last week, I’ve been invited to a live LinkedIn interview tomorrow. It’s my first one ever, so I’m a mix of excited and slightly nervous. But more than anything, I wanted to share it here because it feels like a meaningful step in breaking my old “invisibility” pattern. No expectations, no need to attend.Just celebrating the inner shift of saying yes to something I used to hide from. Thanks for being a space where these small-but-big moments can be shared. With Love and Gratitude, Fadila https://www.linkedin.com/posts/colin-parsons-5a9aaa20_identity-belonging-and-the-courage-to-transform-ugcPost-7401666531341840384-Hz9k?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAB5r3KoBgkIxMhYuBNdmzUy3uIyvgJfgbF4

Congratulations - let us know how it went!
A little peed off
But will learn from it. Too many last minute cancellations or just not turning up. As if my time is not valuable. Solution: 1) In future I will be more selective about who I say yes to having a call with. 2) All will be done through email and I will ask for confirmation the day before. No confirmation. No meeting. Is there a number 3?

@Kevin Dowling True. I'm a soft touch :(

@Rachael Lemon Yep. My tolerance has gone now, too. I'm going to do the same. No response, no meet. Equally I have to get organised and send an email the day before.
Read Me: Today's Workshop
Hey all, I planned to finish this month's Greatest Hits theme with a 'Best Of The Rest' since we've covered Offers, DMs and Sales Call already. To talk about some things that have worked well this year for me/clients, as well as showing you my framework that ties it all together. But after creating it, I feel it makes a lot more sense to start December with it instead. It's very reflective, and a useful diagnostic, but I'd rather get a better sense of where you are now and what you need help with going into the new month, which will help me tailor some of the content in it to be more actionable and practical. So today, we have 2 options instead: 1. Ask-me-anything session (to make up for missed Office Hours) 2. MasterMind session (how we usually round off the month) If you can make today, vote below, or we'll decide based on who joins! See you soon, ~Kev

Is the mastermind where we bring something to the group and solve it? Or learn something?

@Kevin Dowling Just checking!!! 😅
My call feedback
Just tried out some of the things that we did in the sales call yesterday, did miss out the magic question even though I had it written down and and I did the how important is it for you towards the end. May still have talked a little bit too much - 48% her, 52 me. Will work on that. Overall, it felt good. She said it felt right, but did still say she wanted to talk to her husband. She took a screenshot of my 'how it works page' to show him, so that feels positive and she's going to let me know tomorrow. This obviously needs practice ..but doing it with empathy is so much more comfortable. Things to improve - structure - mirroring.

@Kevin Dowling Yep - he was the one who answered yes, maybe - I've changed it so they can only choose one now.

@Rachael Lemon Thank you - and I'll add any of the freebie hunters to a list we can compare!
One Time Fee?
Hey guys, I’m thinking of changing my Skool community model from subscription-based to a one time fee, around $300. That includes 4 live monthly sessions, every villain survival kit, and upcoming live Q&As with people in the gaming industry. I’m tired of seeing people churn and I think a one time fee would cause less buyer friction. Thoughts on this model?

This happened to a community I was in - I still have access now - years later - so from the buyer side, great. But the owner of the group, which had around 60 -100 members, changed it back later to quarterly payments. Why, I can't say. But I'm guessing a dip in regular income and perhaps engagement? Personally, my monthly payment here reminds me I'm paying for something and I should try to make the best of it. Can you do yearly or quarterly fees on Skool?
