I’m on back up call today which means I have to be on the ready if the inpatient hospice unit where I work becomes busier than the nursing staff scheduled today can manage safely. So I’m chilling at home working on content for this community.
I didn’t get everything I wanted to do completed this past few days off because my arthritis pain was acting up big time and my eyes were so blurry I had difficulty reading and posting. I have some type of autoimmune conditions that flares up with inflammation and causes my eyes to be very dry and hurt and roaming joint pain. Often I can go with little to no pain in my knees and hips but last night I could barely climb the stairs to where the laundry is located in our house. Today I get weather update that a severe storm system will be moving though this afternoon- the Knees knew first.
I’m slowly adding content that is free to all members.
I’m hoping to build a very special community of like minded people who value each others skill and work and appreciate each others individuality and differences.
I would love the group to be a place where we can sip our coffee or tea and enjoy each other’s company. I don’t claim to be an expert- my quilts will never be in the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky. But if my great great grandchild is kept warm by it when my arms can hold them- then it is a priceless quilt.
