Sewing is often considered a "disappearing art" because its necessity has declined with the rise of cheap, mass-produced clothing, and it's no longer as commonly taught in schools. Home economics and sewing classes, which were once a staple in schools, have largely disappeared, reducing exposure for younger generations.
Spend time with Ms. Sandy as she shares skills she began loving when she was 7 years old-Almost 60 years of sewing experience. Doll and doll clothes, small patchwork and quilting projects. Basic sewing terms and skills. Welcoming beginner to advanced.

She is a 20 year plus career hospice and palliative care Registered Nurse in home and inpatient level hospice care.
