Quilt Alliance Event 12-3-2025
The Quilt Alliance is hosting two special Zoom events on December 3 in celebration of seven-time Tony Award-winning actor and playwright (and quilter!) Harvey Fierstein, and you’re invited!
First, at 2 pm EST:
The Quilt Alliance welcomes Harvey Fierstein to Textile Talks. Harvey will be interviewed for the QSOS oral history project by artist Zak Foster. Free registration here.
Then, at 4 pm EST:
Join us for the after-party: a Spotlight Fundraiser featuring Harvey Fierstein. Artists Zak Foster, Steven Skybell, Liza Prior Lucy, and Michael Michalski will join Harvey and QA director Amy Milne for a fun conversation about quilting, Broadway, and common threads. You’ll have a chance to ask questions, win door prizes, and your $25 donation will benefit the Quilt Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to documenting, preserving, and sharing the important history of quilts and their makers.
