New to the group
Hey, I am new to the group. I want to make a more heavy duty CNC plasma table, than the JD Garage Gen 1 I have. I do build smokers on a hobby scale:)

CNC build
So I’m getting ready to have my parts cut and I’m not sure what type of steel, thickness, size sheet. I have to transport metal to the table I’m using to cut parts. I also don’t want a lot of waste to have to deal with. Any info would be helpful, I have a standard pickup nothing fancy that I will be using to transport the steel.
Question about plasma CNC port
I’m looking to get a Everlast PowerPlasma 82i for my plasma table that I’m building. so I’m wondering what type of port it has at the back for CNC. Or does it come with a connector for it.
Got it moving!
Thanks for all the help from the community! I’ve got a few limit switches yet to be installed and a drain plug to fit and weld, but I’m seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.

Always learning
I wish I would have found this sooner. I love building projects. We all do thats probably the reason why most of us are here. I bought the plasma table plans from some guys garage, but never bought the electronics. I ran across the GoGreenGuy's video and couldnt believe what I was hearing. That lead me to Corvetteguy's page. And that lead me here. Hopefully I'm on the right path now
