Great Coffee Hour Yesterday
It was great to see everyone who joined the Coffee and Cultural Intelligence hour yesterday. We dove in to look at the local demographics around the churches of those on the call. It's so powerful to visually view the actual data based on the census instead of having to guess who lives in your community. If you'd like to dig in further, Harry would love to speak with you. Bi-lingual Combined Service
Some sights and sounds of our Bi-lingual combined service on Sunday. It has take a lot of years to get to this point, where musicians, worship leaders are able to swap back and forth between English and Spanish in the middle of a worship song, translating all aspects of the service, etc. All our people have experienced these times so much that most know how to sing in the other language. All songs are translated in English and Spanish. Many of these combined services will be Spanish speaking first, translated to English second. Yesterday, was the opposite with English spoken first, translated into Spanish, second. We do these types of services between 4-6 times a year depending on the occasion. Yesterday was graduation Sunday and we had both English and Spanish speaking students graduating from High School, so we celebrated them all together. Pastor Mark's message on Transitions was translated by Pastor Pam Velazquez. What a joyful Sunday! There are literally 1001 ways to do these services, but what I will say is that you must put in some serious planning to pull it off well.

Great Idea
This app is a great idea but it cuts off sentences and ideas. I like to create short stories using ideas I get from the Bible, work books about the bible and sometimes just a single verse.

Build genuine friendships first
Start by forming real friendships without any agenda. People are far more open to spiritual conversations when they feel known, valued, and respected over time through consistent care and presence in their lives.
