Oof this morning was brutal.
It was –11°F when I checked rabbits before work this morning, and of course Roselitta picked that moment to kindle. Thankfully she did everything right—pulled plenty of fur and had them tucked in tight and cozy when I left.
I checked in with my farm hand a bit later and he said the babies were still doing well, so I’m calling that a hard-won winter win. ❄️🐇
