Course update 🐇📚
In other news, I’m just about finished with the script for Module 7 of the Fiber class and I’m looking forward to moving on to Class 4: Fats & Energy Balance next.
Module 7 ended up a little unique. Instead of being another straight lecture, it’s built as a “how to read a research paper” walkthrough. The video module compares three peer-reviewed feed trials that specifically examine cellulose vs. lignin content and how those differences affect rabbit performance.
Originally, this section was going to include all nine papers as video content. But to really do the subject justice (and not turn it into a 3-hour lecture), I moved the other six papers into Google Classroom as guided worksheets and self-paced critical-thinking exercises instead.
So the structure looks like this:
🎥 Video module: step-by-step critical reading of 3 key papers
📝 Google Classroom: 6 additional studies broken into worksheets
📄 TL;DR option: study sheets + simplified breakdowns for quick reference
This way, people who want to learn how to read research can do that, and people who just want the takeaways can still access the conclusions without wading through dense papers.
I’m hoping to have time in the coming week to record Module 7 so I can move forward. I’m still waiting on NDF breakdown data from feed companies for Module 6, but with the holidays and year-end schedules, many companies are on pause — so that piece is temporarily shelved.
As always, thank you for the patience while I build this properly. I’d rather take the time to do it right than rush half-answers.
