Hey ya'll ... Despite Nick's advice to take it slow, I jumped right into this shit (inadvertently I should say)—and today I accepted my first payment for an automation project! 🚀HELL YEAH. I’m helping a client automate social media from LinkedIn to other platforms. BUT... because i jumped into it all too fast I didn't realize my Stripe account still had my old comic book name (The Bucket of Blood). What happened??? Her bank flagged it, blocked her card, and called her. 😅 Luckily, she was cool about it, but lesson learned: double-check your details and do this damn course as it's laid out... Big thanks to Nick and the team for getting me here—onward and upward! 💪

A posted two days ago asking for some suggestions on generating an attractive PDF from data in Make. Many of you provided some helpful input, which I'm thankful for. I ultimately ended up going with Google Slides for this, though during the process I realized there were some sneaky ways I could pre-"format" chunks of text that would PROBABLY work fine in PandaDoc but I'll save that battle for another day. I had previously recorded a video but i had since deleted it (forgot I'd shared it here haha) so I plan to record a fresh one soon since this is such a popular post. Hello gang, Closed a deal with a real estate company in Dubai this weekend! Used a very unique outreach strategy, where I found the phone numbers of the company owners, I then sent them through a WhatsApp with a personalised loom video explaining who I am, and why I’m reaching out. Giving them a lot of value upfront. I had sent no more than 15, and received 3 positive replies, 1 of which has just closed for $1,900! Very happy with this so far, and it’s only just the start 🚀

Timeline 11 Oct : Friday 14 Oct - 18 Oct : Monday - Friday 6 Days Acquisition Channels: Upwork - 17 Proposals Cold Email - 0 Communities - 0 Results (attached proof): 🙌5 Proposal Views 👀3 Open Messages 💰3 Offers 1. ❌USD$450/week for 3 months: REJECTED - i dont think its worth my time 2. ✅EUR€1.5K for 3 Automation Builds: Accepted - will take me 3-5 hours tops so worth it 3. ✅USD$4.4K/Month for 3 Months, then $2.5K + % Split for 12 Months from client generated: Accepted - i like the guy, worth the money as well (context: late 50s, trying to build a new agency after selling his company, pitched the guy my whole leadgen system) hes so thankful he referred me to 2 of his colleague & his brother running the sales dept of a 10 figure company, will probably grow into a 5+figure/month deal by the end of it Total Rev Generated for first week: $6K~ i took the payment off upwork, i dont know might be better to keep them in for the first month i think. ill do it this week Strategy: Custom proposals, no template. all different following the same blueprint (but i manually type everything) 1 Loom Video Explaining all the strategy and my pedigree, attach status delta & past client results, scroll down to client's page to find people mentioning his name as use that in the first "Hi [Client Name]" to kinda personalize it now sending 2-3 proposals/day, quantity over quality, took me 1.5 hours Moving Forward: 1. fix my upwork profile 😂, i dont even have a video or anything (sorry im so lazy to do it guys). my profile picture is so bad as well. i think gaining a few badges like JSS and top talent will get me better click rate. the problem is i have a low CTR but when they view it i got a 60% message rate. so maybe itll help 2. start cold emailing, im currently sending for my other offers but no automation/leadgen offer at all. WILL ALLOCATE 2K+email/day from 23rd-24th of October. should bring in good results 3. start posting on communities im joining 2 agency communities for $99 & $34 per month each. will join next week as im too busy this week 4. start personal branding on youtube 2/post per week and Linkedin 3 Post/Week - grow to 5K Followers/Subscribers (1.5K now)
