Dizziness, nausea, intense headache came out of nowhere. Threw up and had diarrhea all at once. Sharp pains in my solar plexus, back of my heart and vision.Chills come in waves, up my right leg up to my my head and back down the left leg. My crown tingles If this gets worse I will head to the hospital. Consulted my Guides and heard ‘cataclysm of emotions’. That is all I managed to hear. The telephone screen 📺 bothers my eyes. The smell and taste of food is aweful. The smell of the deodorant I use is unbearable. What is happening? Are you experiencing anything similar? Any insight is greatly appreciated.
Feeling Betrayed: A Journey Through Personal and Collective Challenges
Lately, the theme of betrayal seems to be echoing everywhere—both in our personal lives and on a larger scale. Just look at what's happening in Canada, where a liberal government ordered flight attendants back to work after a strike. These dedicated professionals were fighting for fair compensation, especially for the time they spend working when the planes are on the ground. Let’s look at our own backyard. Here in the US, millions will soon lose food stamps. Farmers have had to file for bankruptcy. On a personal note, I had to quit my job, lose medical benefits, because of unfair labor practices and harassment. It’s a stark reminder of how often those in power can overlook the struggles of their frontline workers—people who deserve respect and fair treatment. On a personal note, I recently faced my own experience of betrayal that has left me feeling heartbroken. A dear friend of mine, someone I’ve known for 28 years, turned away from me at a time when I needed her the most. As I navigated my new role as a flight attendant, I called her for support, hoping for a friendly ear. Instead, I was met with harshness. “Suck it up,” she said, dismissing my struggles when I reached out for help. She also shared with an individual some very personal stories about me. That person sexually harassed me. In reflecting on this experience, I realize that betrayal, whether from a friend or a system we support, hurts deeply. It’s a reminder of how fragile trust can be and how important it is to surround ourselves with those who uplift us rather than bring us down. I’m choosing to share my story, not just to heal, but in hopes that we can all find strength in vulnerability and resilience in the face of betrayal. I wrote a letter to my friend. She will never physically receive it. Self-care, rest and writing about this is helping move through very dense sorrow. I have forgiven myself and my friend. Stepping away from our friendship is the biggest act of self love. Just as an airplane needs maintenance to fly safely and smoothly, I need to take care of myself in order to thrive. I am worthy of respect and kindness. The big takeaway of this experience is setting strong boundaries.
