Results if competition
So I just finished the first day of my competition. I swam the 400m freestyle and it was straight finals I dropped 9 seconds and came 4th in the 17 and over age category which I'm very happy about. However I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't get 3rd I was so close and I feel like maybe I should have pushed harder

This weekend I had a competition and I’m happy with the results I swam. It could’ve been better, but now I know exactly which mistakes to focus on for the National Championship. I swam new PBs 100fly 1:03.74 50fly 28.12

Just home after a crazy long day at a meet. Some good new PBs again today which I am very happy about. 400 Free 5:09.13 first time to swim this in ages so happy to get a new time on the books. 🥇 100 Free 1:06.30 first time this season to swim this 🥈 100 Back 1:18.98 happy about a new PB that's under 1:20 🥳 100 Breast 1:23.63 PB 🥈 200 IM 2:43.17 🥈 40x50 relay (was the slowest of the 4 this time but after 12 hours at the meet just had nothing left in tank). 🥇 All in all a good season so far. Looking forward to see how this translates into the LC.
🐆How Ginny (14y) went from 100m fly LCM 1:09 -> 1:04 in 6 months
6 months ago her 100 fly long course time was 1:09 and she was constantly comparing herself to her competitors: She smashed it in practice… then on race day her brain would freak out. Stomach tight, overthinking every stroke, suuuper nervous. Her parents kept saying “just believe in yourself” but she didn't know how... Then we started working together. She didn’t change her club or add more meters. We changed what was happening in her head. 🌈Now before races she has: - A simple 3-minute routine she does every time - A sentence she says to herself on the blocks - A way to reset if she starts to panic mid-race (it's rare these days...) 🚤Last summer she went 1:04 in the 100m fly LC. Same pool, same event, same girl… completely different mindset. The best part isn’t even the time… it’s that she actually looks forward to racing now. Car rides home are way less tears, way more “ok, what can we tackle next?” If your kid is like I was... great in training, tight in races... it’s not that they’re weak or lazy. No one just showed them how to use their mind yet. #keepthewinscoming!!!! We're doing great as a Swimpros team. Got any wins yourself? Post them we wanna know. If you're struggling, ask for help.

I had a meet and I competed in 50,100,200 breaststroke and 50 free. A day before the meet I caught a flu. So that was bad. I had the 50 breast first I wasn’t feeling well, the race didnt get a PB and did it 42:11. The next race was 50 free and I was in the last heat of the 11 heats so that was amazing got a new PB of 33:12! 100 breaststroke I didn’t get a PB I didn’t even reach my last time I did it 1:31,27. In the 200 breast I lowered my PB by 3 seconds! I was so surprised because I was feeling my worst before that race. I didn’t get the time I wanted but for the status I was in I didn’t expect much. I did it in 3:15,63.
