Yesterday I was at competition.
I had my Head Full of good thoughts. I wanted to Swim with better technique and also don‘t forget to Hydrate and recover. So I tried to Stick to the trink something every 15 minutes and it worked out well. My first race was 200m freestyle and it was the first time I did that. I remembered that David told somebody on academy call that the best might be to not start out with a sprint and to go up with the speed. So that was what I tried. I made a 2.51,52 it might not be the best time but I didn’t feel to exhausted and so I think with more work I can go faster.
For 100 IM my goals were better flykicks because when I go faster I forget to do the whole wave and not only kick with the lower legs and I think it worked out. My backstroke didn’t feel slow but I think I have to work on it because after back I had no breath and it was hard to find into breaststroke. My coach said my breaststroke looked good but I felt very slow. Free was good.
My time : 1.30,62 so I was to seconds faster as two month ago (1.32,76).
Right after that race I did the 50 free race. With this I was not happy a could have gone faster I finally wanted to get a 31 but I’m still stuck with 33.
I’m not getting over the 33 now for almost a year. Pb was 33.07 in February and now I went 33.28.
I want to find a way to get over the 33!
