Fabric Reservation and Billing

We have an F2 Rervation at work and wanted to change the Invoice section of the reservation so we had separate cost centres for internal and external subscriptions. However we were told by Microsoft that you cannot do this with a reservation. We would need to cancel our reservation and then re-purchase it to assign it to a separate invoice section. You can change the invoice section if you have a Pay-as-you-go Fabric Capacity but not the reservation.

I am astounded that this is the case so be careful when setting up any Fabric reservation and that you assign it to the correct invoice section (billing profile) at the start.
