Just asking
Hey y'all hey!!! For anyone that has been using LabCE and have already taken and passed the ASCP. Do you feel LabCE helped prepare you for the exam?
Program Question
I took the MLT ASCP in 2017 and graduated from a solid program, essentially well-prepared for it. I am almost done with a BSN in MLS from a subpar online program, where I've essentially learned nothing. I am looking for a program that allows me to review lessons for every subject in Lab to establish a solid foundation before I start studying intensively. I came across the Study.com program, and it seems decent, but I wanted to know if anyone has any recommendations. YouTube channels teaching the majority of the topics, or even a single textbook that covers everything? I've been working as an MLT since 2017, so I understand most of the information, but I don't have it memorized for testing.
Question
I have a parasitology question that's got me confused can someone give me feed back on it. A patient returns from Central America and has progressive muscle weakness with eosinophilia after eating undercooked pork. Which parasite fits this description? A. Echinococcus granulosus B. Trichinella spiralis C. Taenia solium D. Diphyllobothrium latum My initial though would be T. solium however, it shows T. spiralis as the correct answer can you explain why would it be that and not T. solium.
Disappointed
I’m a lil discouraged. I’ve been doing the LabCE exams and been scoring in 48-53% with 4.49-4.55ish? difficulty. Is this bad? I feel like whatever im doing isn’t helping
Disappointed
Average
Hi guys, could someone please help me by explaining what the “average” that LabCE shows every time you take a practice test means? Mine never goes above 5.41, even though I usually get around 50 questions correct. Thank you so much ♥
