Today something more personal...
Last year, I wanted to give my girlfriend something truly special for her birthday.
Her mother's dog, Tina, is already 13 years old. When my girlfriend still lived with her mother, Tina was always by her side. Even now, whenever we visit, Tina follows my girlfriend everywhere and never leaves her side.
Knowing how much Tina means to her, I wanted to give her a gift that would keep those memories alive for years to come.
My aunt is a talented artist, so I sent her one of my favorite photos of Tina and asked if she could paint a portrait of her. The result turned out beautifully, and now my girlfriend has a special keepsake that will always remind her of Tina.
