The topic everyone is thinking about (but no one wants to say out loud).
I wanted to share something important with you all today. Over the last few weeks, I have been flooded with comments and questions on social media. While many are about weight or sleep, there is a quieter, more painful theme coming up again and again: Intimacy. Women are sharing (often in secret DMs) that intimacy has become painful, complicated, or non-existent. They feel broken, or like they are closing up shop on that part of their lives. I want you to know: You are not broken. It is not in your head. And it is time we address it. I have just uploaded a brand new resource to our Classroom to help you navigate this privately and gently. It is called The Radiance Intimacy Kit. It is a private, RN-designed guide to reclaiming comfort and safety. We cover the biology of why it hurts, the exact tools (moisturizers vs. lubricants) to fix the physical pain, and how to calm your nervous system so you can feel safe again. Where to find it: 1. Go to the Classroom tab. 2. Look for the "Menopause Symptom Relief Guides" card. 3. You will see The Radiance Intimacy Kit ready for you to download. This is your personal guide to explore at your own pace. You deserve to feel at home in your body — in every aspect of your life. Let me know if you have any trouble finding it! Warmly, Rebecca

🌿 The True Cost of Being Ignored
Part III of the Blog: The Midlife Woman's Guide to Overcoming Medical Dismissal and Reclaiming Your Health, Part III: The True Cost of Being Ignored is live! You can find it in the "CLASSROOM" tab in this community, and on my website www.12steps2radiance.com under Blog. When a woman’s menopausal symptoms are dismissed, the impact runs so much deeper than one bad doctor’s visit. 💔 Her health suffers. Declining estrogen affects the heart, bones, brain, and even sexual wellness ~ yet these warning signs are too often brushed aside. 🧠 Her confidence and career suffer. The “menopause penalty” costs billions in lost productivity each year. But the real cost? Women doubting their intuition and disappearing from their own lives. ✨ It’s time to change the story. Next week - don't miss the final piece: Part IV: The Self-Advocacy Playbook: Becoming the CEO of Your Health (with checklists + a doctor script!) 💛 Ready to be supported, not dismissed? Join The Radiance Circle Group Coaching ~ starts October 29 where we are going to get ready for the three back to back holidays with grounding practices, breathing techniques and calming tools to help you stay steady and ready to stand strong into 2026. 👉 https://www.12steps2radiance.com/the-radiance-circle-order-funnel Let me know what you would like to see here to help you prepare for this very busy season ahead of us. New Blog Post in Classroom - Part I of 4: The Unspoken Epidemic of Medical Dismissal
Good Sunday Afternoon, Radiance Circle friends ✨ I’ve been diving deep into the research, and what I found was too important not to share. That’s why I’ve created a 4-part blog series called: “It’s Not in Your Head: The Midlife Woman’s Guide to Overcoming Medical Dismissal and Reclaiming Your Health.” 🔹 Part I: The Unspoken Epidemic of Medical Dismissal is live now! 👉 You can read it on my website www.12steps2radiance.com or right here in our Classroom blog space. Here’s what’s coming next: - Part II (next weekend): Behind the Curtain: Why the System Fails Women in Midlife - Part III (week after): The True Cost of Being Ignored - Part IV (final): The Self-Advocacy Playbook: Becoming the CEO of Your Health ✨ Part IV will also come with bonus tools, including: - Mastering the Clinical Conversation ~ How to Be Heard - Your In-Office Advocacy Script Sheet with suggested responses you can use right away with your provider. I’ll post those resources in our Classroom when we get to Part IV, but if you’d like them sooner, just send me a quick message. These are conversations too many of us have had in silence. My hope is that by reading, reflecting, and sharing together, you’ll feel seen, validated, and equipped to finally reclaim your health story. Please give me your thoughts...and if anyone is interested in the actual research...its extensive, let me know. I'll be happy to copy that into the classroom as well. With care, Rebecca 🌿

Your Self-Advocacy Script for the Doctor's Office
Feeling dismissed by your doctor during perimenopause is incredibly common, but that doesn't make it right. One of the most powerful ways to reclaim control in the exam room is to be prepared. When a provider minimizes your concerns with a phrase like, "This is just a normal part of aging," it can be hard to know how to respond. Here’s a simple, powerful, and respectful script you can use: "I understand that these changes are common, but the severity of these symptoms is significantly impacting my quality of life and my ability to work. I'd like to discuss treatment options to manage them." This phrase does three things: 1. It validates their point ("I understand..."). 2. It recenters the conversation on YOUR experience ("impacting my quality of life"). 3. It moves the conversation from dismissal to action ("discuss treatment options"). Watch for the Blog Post I'm writing on this topic - packed with research and more strategies you can use to address it. Medical dismissal or medical gaslightiing of all stages of menopausal women is real and back by research. Advocate for yourself ~ know how and when. Here are some teasers from the Blog: Consider the story of Katie Taylor, founder of the support group The Latte Lounge. For four years, she was misdiagnosed with depression and prescribed antidepressants before a specialist correctly identified her symptoms as perimenopausal. In an account shared publicly, Marian Adams described a harrowing three-year search for answers, during which one doctor dismissed her severe insomnia by noting she was 'dressed nicely and wearing your pearls.' Question for the group: What's one phrase or strategy you've used to make sure you were heard at a doctor's appointment? Share your strugles and wins below!

Brain Fog & The Confidence Crisis: 3 Ways to Reclaim Your Sharp Mind
Hey everyone, let's dive into a topic that so many of you have mentioned in my clarity session surveys: brain fog and the confidence shift. It's more than just a memory glitch; it's an invisible force that can seriously chip away at our confidence. It can make us doubt our intelligence, our ability to perform at work, and even our own sanity. The scientific truth is that declining estrogen levels affect the hippocampus, the part of our brain responsible for memory and learning. So, when you feel like you're losing your edge, it's not a personal failure, it's a hormonal reality. The confidence shift comes when we internalize these symptoms, leading to anxiety, frustration, and a fear of not being good enough. But here's where we take our power back. Here are three simple, yet effective, strategies to not just manage brain fog, but also restore your confidence: 1. Fuel Your Brain: Think of your brain as a high-performance engine. It needs the right fuel. Focus on foods rich in omega-3s (like salmon and walnuts), antioxidants (berries and leafy greens), and B vitamins. These nutrients are essential for cognitive function and can help sharpen your focus. 2. Move Your Body, Clear Your Mind: Regular physical activity, even just a brisk 20-minute walk, increases blood flow to the brain and helps build new brain cells. It's one of the most effective ways to combat that sluggish, foggy feeling. 3. Use Your Planner as a Second Brain: Stop relying on a brain that's in flux. Get everything out of your head and onto a calendar, a to-do list, or a project management app. This simple habit reduces mental clutter, frees up cognitive energy, and gives you a tangible way to see your productivity—which is a huge confidence booster. Remember, this is not a sign of your intelligence fading. It's a temporary symptom of a powerful life transition. Let's support each other in this. What’s one simple brain-boosting habit you're going to try this week? Share it in the comments below! Look for the "Loom" video post to learn how to comment in the community if you feel stuck. We want to hear from you !💗
