You are a BRAND.
It seems like we have all been told that people buy something that they need or something that they will use out of a wish or desire. In certain business models , espcially those that sell a service, people buy into you and how you deliver the service as opposed to solely to consume your services.
This means that your reputation is key above all else and you need to protect your reputation at all costs. I am buying your service for example as a Pilates Instructor because I like your fancy work out gear and the conversation is lit. As opposed to the fact that, I am just going to pick the first Pilates Studio that I happen to run accross. Most customers do not mind the 5Km radius drive to buy into you as a brand.
This is very different to buying a product, where it solely by need. For example, I come in to Carrefour to buy your Bio Milk which I could also get from Chandarana which means I am buying something that I need and if you are located in my vicinity, the closest supermarket gets bought into, because it is where need marries convienence. Bio Milk is a product and NOT a service and for neccesity products like milk, sometimes it is more about location and not you as a Brand.
So work on your brand, know your customer, put an effort into educating yourself of where you desired customer tends to spend time and you will be a step further to reaching your niche customer.
