I'm Confused About SEO!

What's the SEO score of my content if I don't use any SEO plugin, is it zero?

Or can I optimize my post for SEO without any SEO plugins?

Or compare the image I've attached below. In either of the cases, would google treat my content differently if they're same, word-for-word except that, I entered something completely stupid in keyword.

Let's say we're writing a blog.

All of us enter the keyword into focus keyword section of SEO plugin. What's that for?

Is it for self-assurance that our content is SEO optimized?

Or is it for the Google to know that that the content is about (ABC keyword) and it should show it when people search the same keyword.

And if I write my whole blog fully optimized for "zero budget marketing" & before publishing, I installed and activated the SEO plugin and entered "how to make a mango juice" as keyword. Would it make any difference?
