Is ergonomics important for sound engineers?

Haven't seen this topic discussed in the program - back pain is distracting and I think it's decreasing the quality of my work. Also, typical desks are different than what we use in our studios because we have monitor speakers and sometimes consoles, synths, or at least a keyboard. I remembered speaker placement and isolation mentioned, but that's it.

So I'd like to ask the fix for the root cause - what desk and chair do you recommend? I experienced working in a factory standing for 12 hours daily for years so this time I don't want to take sitting down for granted. I only have a typical keyboard, mouse, screen, and an ATX system unit. I have an 88-key piano and planning to get a monitor speaker in the future. Any suggestions will help!
