Tools are tools y’all. For what it’s worth I have never created a text-to-music piece of music. I released 100 tracks last year - all live hardware performances - before I started using the hybrid approach for studio recordings. I produced the track linked using this approach. 🎸Learning instruments is so much fun (I am a conservatory-trained instrumentalist), and learning a DAW like Ableton or even a DAW in a box that you can strike like the MPC (I have two of them) necessitates next-level engineering and composition skills and 10k hours 🧑🏾‍💻⏳⌛️ None is necessary to make professional music anymore. That is a fact and your opinion or feelings are not going to change that. I am sorry to say that if it is hard to accept, like it was for me - at first. 🎻 What we will learn here will be how your kids’ musical idols produce. So yes, if you get unplugged, and you don’t know how to play an instrument or sing, or clap, or compose, or beatbox, or rap... then, you know, you are not going to be making music 🧐 You would not be joining this Skool either 🤓 💡The good news - this approach is a lot cheaper and accessible to people over the world than the minimal viable studio until today (DAW, Laptop, Speakers/Headphones/Sound Card/Sound engineering skills (an engineer is not by definition, a musician).
