Writing progress update

I’ve got two WIPs on my desk at the moment one deep in the middle stretch where the story really starts to demand clarity, and the other still taking shape, finding its rhythm and voice. It’s that familiar phase where the work asks more of you, tighter structure, sharper character choices, and a bit of patience with the process.

I’m always interested in where other writers are in their cycle. Are you drafting, revising, or letting something rest before the next pass?
