GHL Not Receiving Messages From Facebook Ad Leads (Engagement Campaign)

Hey everyone, I could use some help troubleshooting this.

I have a client where we’re running Facebook engagement ads that generate messages. When someone clicks the ad, it opens Messenger and they start a conversation.

Previously, I had this connected to GoHighLevel, so when a lead sent a message through the ad, the AI would automatically respond and guide them to book an appointment.

The issue is that it suddenly stopped working for messages coming from the ads.

What’s strange is:

• Regular Facebook Messenger messages still come through GHL

• The AI responds normally to those

• The problem only happens with messages generated from the ads

So it seems like the ad conversations are not triggering the integration with GHL anymore.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows what could cause this?

Is there something specific in Meta Ads Manager or the Facebook/GHL integration that might have disconnected?
