Hair Loss prevention advice wanted

Hi, I'm a 17-year-old fashion enthusiast. Recently, I have had the longest hair in my life, roughly about 4-5 inches. Since my school requires very short hair, I cut it very short, but now that I look, despite being careful about not using any harsh products, I see a sign of balding in my crown area (a little above the crown). Just to be clear, I have a bad genetic reputation for balding at an early age (but not this early).

I really need your help. 🙏
