Jackie picked up a 25kg bag of raw peanuts & got creative — using some for Fah Sun Wu (peanut paste sweet soup) while prepping veggies for Acar. Meanwhile, I dived into festive baking….I made Cornflake Crunch, Christmas treats for my neighbours’ children. Cathy was taking a break from cooking & stayed chatting with us. Halfway through the Cookalong Jenny surprisingly joined us virtually from Malaysia where she’s on holiday! She kept us laughing with tales of her adventures — apparently she needed a new suitcase to bring all the goodies back home!🧳
I whipped up my Cornflake Crunch with the thermomix — effortless, except for the bit where I had to fiddle with spooning them into tiny paper cups 😅. Baking was a breeze, done in 5 - 7 minutes!
