Stop Trying To Focus For Hours. Do This Instead.
GUYS LOOK! , if you're struggling with executive dysfunction, stop trying to grind for hours straight. It doesn't work!
I started using "Sprint Cycles" instead of forcing high intensity work, and it completely changed the game for me.
Here’s the solution:
  • Pick One Target: Single task only. No tab switching.
  • The Sprint: Set a timer for 25, 30 minutes and execute.
  • The Constraint: Phone in the other room, zero distractions. Just hold focus until the timer expires.
  • The Reset: Take a strict 5 minute break. Walk away, grab water, move around.
  • Repeat: Knock out 4 rounds, then take a full 15, 30 minute break to reset your brain.
WHY IT WORKS: It creates artificial urgency. Knowing you only have to lock in for 25 minutes kills the friction that causes procrastination. When you want to quit mid sprint, just tell yourself: "I only have to hold on for 10 more minutes."
Try it out and let me know how it's working for you guys, I look forward to hearing about your progress soon! 💪🏻
