Mothers be mindful that being a healthy mom requires healing, deliverance, therapy, counseling and/or life coaching; along with Jesus. When we have had broken childhoods, been in broken relationships, and/or just experienced the brokenness that life offers everyone... we must take time to heal on purpose, if not our children will suffer. We can be great providers, cook good meals and help with homework, but if we are broken and unhealed, most often we will lack the ability to be a good nurturer. One of the main roles of a woman is to be a soft place to land. To be gentle, kind and sweet, as we steward our children and help our husbands. We should be an emotional safe place, a sure place when the rest of the world is rocky. If our children don't experience loving kindness from us as their mothers we missed one of the main points of motherhood. Heal on purpose
