My Tip: Change "I have to..." to "I Get to..."
This is my very favorite energy changer. I use it myself every day and share it with all my clients. “I have to” feels heavy, pressured, and draining.“ I get to” instantly brings in a sense of choice, gratitude, and possibility. Instead of: I have to do this, Try: I get to do this. It may seem small, but your brain and nervous system respond to the meaning behind your words. This simple shift can lighten your mood, reduce stress, and completely change your energy. It’s changed my life—and so many others have told me the same. It's a small shift with a big impact!
