2️⃣ Prospect — A serious & qualified lead
A prospect is a lead that is qualified.
That means:
- They need your service
- They have a budget
- They can make the decision
Example:
“Yes, I need a website. My budget is $500. When can we start?”
👉 This person is seriously considering buying.
In short:
Prospect = Serious / qualified lead
3️⃣ Customer — Paid client
A customer is someone who has:
- Paid money, or
- Signed a contract
Example:
- Advance payment received
- Project started
👉 Now it’s a real deal 💰
In short:
Customer = Paying client
