What is Lead / Prospect / Customer ?
1️⃣ Lead — Someone who showed interest
A lead is a person who has shown interest in your product or service.
Examples:
  • Filled out a form
  • Sent a WhatsApp / email
  • Clicked “I’m interested” on an ad
👉 You don’t know yet if they will buy.
In short:
Lead = Interested person
2️⃣ Prospect — A serious & qualified lead
A prospect is a lead that is qualified.
That means:
  • They need your service
  • They have a budget
  • They can make the decision
Example:
“Yes, I need a website. My budget is $500. When can we start?”
👉 This person is seriously considering buying.
In short:
Prospect = Serious / qualified lead
3️⃣ Customer — Paid client
A customer is someone who has:
  • Paid money, or
  • Signed a contract
Example:
  • Advance payment received
  • Project started
👉 Now it’s a real deal 💰
In short:
Customer = Paying client
