Summary of the 14th Para (Rubama)
The 14th Para begins with Surah Al-Hijr and continues into Surah An-Nahl. In this Para, Allah reminds people about the truth of the Qur’an and warns those who deny the message of Islam. It explains that many disbelievers will regret their disbelief when they see the reality on the Day of Judgment. Allah also assures that the Qur’an is a divine revelation and He Himself has taken the responsibility to protect it from any change or corruption.
This Para also mentions the story of the creation of Prophet Adam (AS) and the refusal of Iblis (Satan) to obey Allah’s command to bow before Adam. Because of his arrogance and disobedience, Iblis was cursed and expelled. The story teaches that arrogance and pride lead a person away from Allah’s guidance.
Later, in Surah An-Nahl, Allah describes many of His blessings for human beings, such as animals, food, rain, and the natural systems that help life continue on earth. These blessings remind people to be grateful to Allah and to worship Him alone. The Para also encourages believers to invite others to Islam with wisdom, good advice, and patience.
Overall, this Para highlights the protection of the Qur’an, the consequences of arrogance and disbelief, and the countless blessings of Allah that should lead people toward gratitude and obedience.
