Arabic:
وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ
Translation (English):
“And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.’”
(Surah Ibrahim 14:7)
Translation (Urdu):
“اور (یاد کرو) جب تمہارے رب نے اعلان فرمایا کہ اگر تم شکر ادا کرو گے تو میں تمہیں اور زیادہ دوں گا، اور اگر ناشکری کرو گے تو بے شک میرا عذاب بہت سخت ہے۔”
(سورۃ ابراہیم 14:7)
Explanation:
Gratitude is not just saying “Alhamdulillah,” but truly recognizing Allah’s blessings and using them in ways that please Him. When we are thankful, Allah promises to increase us... in wealth, peace, health, and even faith. The more we appreciate, the more He gives, both in this world and the next.
